Overview §

• We can use 時じかんめ to explain what period we have, or ask for it.
• Simply place the period number (eg. 一 for period 1), then 時じかんめ.

You can ask what subject is in what period using this structure:

Q: (subject) はいつですか？ When is (subject)?

A: (subject) は(day)の(period)時かんめです。 (Subject) is on (day), (period).

Complete Example A: (subject) は月曜日の三時かんめと水曜日のー時かんめです。¹ Subject is on Period 3 Monday and Period 1 Wednesday.

You can ask what subject is in a specific period using this structure:

Q: (day) の (period) 時かんめは何ですか？ What is on (period) on (day)?

A: (subject) です。

Complete Example Q: 木曜日の一時かんめは何ですか？ What is on Period 1 on Thursday?
